"Tennis, pool, Jacuzzi, fireplace, breakfast included. The Costa Verde Inn at Escazu is a private mansions that belongs to the owner of the beautiful Costa Verde Hotel in Manuel Antonio. Now, after a remodeling, it lives up to its claim as a country inn with all the amenities of a small resort. An apartment is available and one of the big guest room has unique stone waterfall-like shower. Filling breakfast are served. Costa Verde is located in a quiet residential area above the city."

"The Costa Verde Inn, In Costa Rica is a very beautiful atmospheric, and peaceful bed and breakfast long on creature comforts. The lofty-ceilinged house is creatively conceived. Hardwoods abound, including a stunning hardwood floor. Walls are adorned with hand-colored historic photos. Decor is simple, romantic, and bright, the furnishings tasteful. The lounge has a plump leather sofa an open fire place, and a large screen TV. Twelve individually styled bedrooms come with king-size beds, built-in hardwood furniture, and huge, beautifully tiled bathrooms. Room 6 has a bathroom in natural stone with an open pit shower at its center. There’s not a room I wouldn’t want to sleep in. Economy rooms have small singles and shared bath. Outside are a tennis court and a shaded terrace with rough-hewn supports and open fireplace. Added in 1994 were a swimming pool, sun deck and outdoor gym. A solid bargain. Breakfast Included. Recommended"

"The sister lodge of the famous Manuel Antonio hotel, this homey stone inn is surrounded by gardens that contain a hot tub, a mosaic-tile swimming pool, a BBQ area and even a sundeck with wi-fi. Fourteen simple rooms of various sizes have king-sized beds, comfy rocking chairs and folk-art accents. Five apartments come with fully equipped kitchen.

This is a good hotel in the upscale part of San Jose, Escazu. The price is excellent when compared to the other hotels in the area. There are always lots of local "gringos" staying there. The breakfast is generous and offers most anything you would like.

I though this Is a great hotel. the photos give you an Idea what its like my suggestion is come on over. This is like a Mansion and you will be treated like a guest in their Home. Great location and within walking distance of the center of town.. You can talk to the locals there very friendly. there are lot of stores and Restaurants nearby. transportation is excellent as far as taxis and busses. the hotel staff will give you information on that. Also they are very knowledgeable of the area as far as things to do. if I come to Escazu ill defiantly stay here again.

I’ve been staying at Costa Verde Inn once or twice a year for the past four years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is terrific, and always make me feel like I’m at my home away from home. They have a charming variety of rooms and kitchen-equipped apartments — each with lots of character and all the comforts you need. The gardens are lovely and there’s even a nice pool. Plus, every morning they serve a delicious breakfast in the beautiful al fresco dining area. And, if you are on a dental or medical trip, CIMA hospital is walking distance. Costa Verde Inn is a perfect place for people traveling alone, couples, or groups and families. Cynthia R., San Francisco, CA

I was in Escazu for Dental work. The Costa Verde Inn was relatively quiet and restful with a good breakfast. The property is efficient with plenty of plants and trees. I stayed in an apartment so we could prepare and reheat some meals. A few restaurants and local stores are available on foot.

I have stayed at the Costa Verde Inn two times, and thus, highly recommend. everybody at the Inn is friendly and helpful. They arranged the airport pickup (if you need it); great tip if you are arriving in Costa Rica for the first time. Food was great; fresh fruit, rice and beans (gallo pinto) toast, eggs, tea and coffee. And very reasonable rates on top of everything. Highly recommended. - Kris

Located on a hill in the neighborhood of Escazu a suburb of San Jose, this quaint inn is safe and clean with a nice view of the city. There is a pool and hot tub but a little on the small side. The breakfast is great and coffee has a kick to it! - Alexandra

I lived here for four months for student teaching, and the Inn has such a great staff! The area is beautiful, and it is so close to many fun and interesting places! Some of the staff speaks English very well, and they're also helpful for you to practice your Spanish! The breakfast is yummy and affordable...overall, great place :) Melli

I have stayed at the Costa Verde Inn three times, and highly recommend it!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport pickup is amazing, especially if you are arriving in Costa Rica for the first time. They arranged a taxi for me, to take me to the local bus station. The breakfast is great --- fresh fruit, rice and beans, toast (vegan heaven!!) even a selection of teas. And very reasonable rates on top of everything!! Don’t hesitate to stay here. - Krista
